This large bowl can be used for mixing, potluck pasta salad, or just decoration.  
Bowls are handmade, so sizes are approximate.  Large bowls are roughly 10-12in in diameter. 
 
My clay body is currently a brown speckled stoneware.  Without any glaze on it, it will have a rough, stone-like texture, and will be a light brown with black specks.  Stoneware clay is a sturdy type of clay, hence its name - STONEware.  It is dishwasher and microwave safe.  
 
Large bowls can be customized a couple ways:  
1.  Glaze:  Current glaze options are white, clear, moss green, rust blue, and seafoam.  Glaze is what makes your piece smooth and shiny.  You may pick one glaze option.  
2.  Text/Imagery:  I can also add text - like a name - or add imagery - like flowers.  If you have a photo reference for an image, please send it to me at kvalovick@gmail.com with your name and order number.  
3.  Carved/Painted:  The designs can either be carved onto the surface of the bowl or painted on with underglaze.  Unglaze can be red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, white, or black.  Please select up to two underglaze colors and include them in the text box.
